The Island of Mureno became the centre of glassmaking for the Venetian Republic, at the end of the 13th. century. Today, the island is renowned for the quality and workmanship of the jewel-like glass crafted there, using techniques developed, and passed down from father to son, over many centuries.

These rosary beads of multicoloured Millefiori glass, laid over a vibrant turquoise foundation, have been made by the mastercraftsmen of Mureno with exquisite artistry. They have been paired with a beautifully worked pierced crucifix and junction, with links and chain all in solid silver.

The rosary beads have a decade length of 30", with a drop including crucifix of 6".
